Carina has been a valued member of the Hillside Veterinary Clinic team since 2016. Her lifelong love for animals started as a child. Growing up under her grandmother's care, was a loving home filled with animals such as a Pomeranian she gladly named Fox, a few cats whose names included Fiona, Lady spunky, Butterscotch, Cumby, Gizmo, and MilkShake. All these animals kicked off her passion for animal science which has provided her with comfort and purpose, inspiring her to dedicate her career to their care. 

Carina takes pride in working closely with clients to deliver expert, compassionate care, always recognizing that every pet and their needs are unique, ensuring outstanding care. 

In 2018, Carina's passion led her to earn a certificate of Veterinary Assisting from Quinsigamond Community College. She is currently furthering her education by going to school for Veterinary Technology, with the goal of becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician. Carina takes a special interest in veterinary dentistry, working with exotics, and animal behavior. 

Outside of work and studying, Carina cherishes time with her family, friends, and fiance. She is also a devoted pet parent to her adored ferrets, Maddox, Mushu, Loki, and Lana,who keep her life full of love and excitement.
